The Farmhouse offers the perfect
houseparty setting for a group of friends or big family get-together. The typical Breton farmhouse built in 1906 has an
entrance hall with beautiful curved wooden staircase leading to a mezzanine
shower room with wc and hand basin. The old wooden floors on the staircase and
upper floors gleam with the patina of many years of loving polishing. |

first floor has two magnificent bedrooms, one with a king sized and single and
one with a double and single, The full sized shuttered windows look out over the forecourt where the 60ft deep
stone lined well used to provide one of the few sources of fresh drinking water
for farmworkers who would gather at Le Rhun for refreshment.

The
top floor has two further large bedrooms,
one with three single beds tucked under
the eaves (the perfect setting for a midnight feast!)

The

The hall leads through to
the spacious salon with comfy sofas and chairs grouped round the huge woodburner
- a wonderful space for relaxing and chatting. The sitting room has French TV,
DVD player, woodburner and a selection of traditional board games in the big oak sideboard
for winter afternoon fun in front of a crackling log fire.

The hall from the sitting room leads through
to the farmhouse kitchen, with dishwasher and Esse woodburning range cooker
which powers the farmhouse central heating from October to April and fills the
kitchen with the aroma of roasted chestnuts gathered from the chestnut walk on
many an autumn evening! A gas cooker is also provided for summer cooking when
the barbecue chef is having a rest. The kitchen cupboards are well equipped with
all you need for baking and gourmet cooking - including cookery books, food
processor, slow cooker and juice squeezer.

Off the kitchen the laundry area has
Belfast sink and washer/dryer. The ground floor shower room with wc and hand
basin features tall shuttered windows looking out over the sweeping farmland
beyond. The rear lobby has storage for the barbecue and logs for the fire and
leads to a private garden area with panoramic views over the farmland and tables
and chairs for al fresco dining and barbecues. The dining room also looks onto
the farmland and has refectory style seating, a large pine dresser, and woodburner.
