Tom and Rebecca
Bruton, both graduates of Trinity College of Music in London, had busy
careers teaching and performing saxophone, clarinet, flute and piano
before moving to Le Rhun.
As professional musicians Tom and Rebecca are well equipped to support
you in developing your skills on your instrument. They are both excited
by the opportunities at Le Rhun for people to get together in a
stimulating environment to share their musical talents.
Le Rhun offers a tranquil setting away from the everyday stresses and
constraints which may inhibit your ability to focus solely on your
playing. The old Breton farmhouse and gites offer lots of privacy for
individual practice and convivial spaces for group practice, as well as
a comfortable environment in which to relax and enjoy the luxury of
completely immersing yourself in music with like-minded people.
Locally, the village of Argol has a thriving artistic community of
musicians, sculptors and artists who are very enthusiastic about sharing
in Le Rhun’s musical events.
